• Get input on a real Statement on Transparency (super super draft linked, not even readable, kinda just compiled paragraphs)
• Review mission statement
• List our goals for the semester (i.e. lets be proactive and accountable)

Events and Budgeting

• Discuss/go over/plan events ands budgets for this semester:
  • Student fundraising events/alum events i.e. alum sock hop
  • Day-long or couple hour long event on grad schools (Walid suggested this last semester, said he would speak)
  • Faculty/student body meeting
  • Common Ground
• Appeals for JAC budget

Web and Tech

• Review website changes + ideas
• Schedule web/tech tutoring
• Email forwarding

Housekeeping

• Schedule regular meetings with Saskia
• Committee allocations
• Figure out everyone’s tenure (time on student council) for our records

Committees

• JSC. Andy replaces Shira.
• Welcome Jakob and Jon. They need profiles!
• Reviewing JAC funding, discussing appeals. Several hour long symposium on grad schools, we’d like to compensate three speakers each and have a reception. March 20th. Andy will add to JAC website, go to appeals tomorrow.
• Who wants to be on Senate? Feb 26, Jon Cuba.
• Saskia meetings every other week on Mondays at 11am, next one is February 25th.
• Event planning:
  • March 13th: Alumni Sock Hop
  • Date TBD: Promenade in the Collonade
• Jenny will fill in tenures with Casey
• Common Ground dates: Thursday February 21st at 9pm: Building Tours, Thursday March 28th at 9pm: Tuition
